Music Celebration: Let Music Resonate in Central
When the harmonious melodies of 'Music Celebration' fill Tai Kwun, you'll know the festival curtain has risen. Under the leadership of program music director Anna Lo, the local a cappella group VSing will present a series of live performances. With their soothing vocals, VSing will perform original and classic Cantonese pop songs and Christmas carols, infusing familiar melodies with festive cheer and offering heartwarming tunes that bring warmth and resonance during this joyous season.
On 1 December, starting from 6:00 pm, the Parade Ground at Tai Kwun will host a Christmas lighting ceremony, with free hot chocolate and spiced wine for the audience to share a moment of festive warmth amid the music and lights.

This innovative platform continues to bring together multiple international and local top circus troupes, with several acts making their Asian premieres, allowing audiences to witness and engage with contemporary international circus performances up close. From Denmark, making its Asian premiere, The Genesis features 12 acrobatic performers using powerful and high-difficulty stunts to tell a story with elegance and poetry, showcasing the ultimate beauty of the human body in motion.
World-renowned juggler Wes Peden from the USA will present Spiral Slide, making its Hong Kong debut. With a punk-inspired surreal juggling aesthetic, he challenges gravity by combining physics and art to create a visually stunning performance. In addition, Peden will conduct a juggling masterclass to share his exquisite skills and creative insights. La Triochka, an all-female trio from France, will present the breathtaking Top Down, a high-difficulty juggling act that blends strength and grace with an elegant performance that resonates with urban life.
Audiences of all ages can enjoy De Cuyper vs De Cuyper from Belgium, which turns a sibling rivalry into a sporting competition. The juggling brothers will engage in a hilarious battle of wits and skills through their circus performance. Tree, Tree, Tres by Korean troupe 64J will present a poetic performance that delicately explores 'balance,' 'teamwork,' and 'connection with nature.' Audience members can also join a parent-child workshop to experience the wonders and joys of the art of balance. The popular Ting Koo-ki Mad Skills Battle also makes a remarkable comeback, gathering circus talents from around the world to showcase their exquisite skills and unlimited creativity in an on-site impromptu battle.

Additionally, Kaleidoscope from Korea will guide audiences into the world of Korean physical theater, using physical movements to tell humorous and touching stories of women's growth, taking the audience on an emotional journey filled with laughter and tears.
New Chapter for Circus Talents: Presenting Stories, Skills, and Future Development
The 'Tai Kwun Circus Season' includes various programs focused on nurturing local talents, reflecting Tai Kwun's continuous support for and commitment to circus arts. The cross-disciplinary performance Circus Reels - Throw to Glow will bring together local and French artists to present a fast-paced contemporary circus show inspired by real stories, resembling the experience of browsing Reels (short videos) on social media. Additionally, the newly launched 'Professional Circus Program' gathers local and Asian circus artists and curators to drive the development of circus arts through dialogue, collaboration, and creative exchanges. Furthermore, the third edition of Circus Bootcamp - Time after Time will provide specialized training for emerging performers, continuing to cultivate a new generation of circus talents and laying a solid foundation for Hong Kong's future circus development.
